Individual Study Plan (ISP)

Individual Study Plan is a formal agreement between you as a PhD student and the IIIEE, where discussion and agreement with your supervisors and departmental representative(s) regarding the progress and the plan of completing your PhD study is documented. This is also where we officially document your involvement in so-called departmental duties.

At the IIIEE, we request all PhD students to update their ISP twice a year (once before the summer, and once before the end of the year). We use the on-line ISP system at LTH.  More information and the content of ISP, as well as some guidance of how to fill in the ISP, is found here (link to the ISP part under “while you are doing your PhD”).

For the first ISP, in addition to overall direction of the research, your engagement in departmental duties and the like, please make sure to include all the mandatory courses for the IIIEE PhD students under“planned courses”.
