"Spikning"

The final thesis needs to be “nailed” by the “spikning (nailing, in Swedish)” day, three weeks and three days prior to the defence date.

From this date on you do not have possibility to make any changes to the PhD thesis – it is this version that will be evaluated by the examination committee members, and defended on the defence day.

The spikning should be done both electronically and printed copies should be brought to several locations.

Please check the relevant page on LTH’s home page carefully.
