Finalising your PhD

It would be good to start planning the finalisation of your PhD studies approximately one year before you complete your thesis work and defend it.

There are things you should do prior to the making various arrangements needed for your thesis defence, as well as those that must be done in preparation for your defence. Then you will defend, and there are some follow ups afterwards. Many of these require actions of others (supervisors, Director of PhD studies, PhD administrator, the IIIEE Director) as well, and we try to make these as clear to various people engaged in the process.
