Environmental Management and Strategy in Practice (EMSP)

EMSP in brief

The master's programme EMP includes a course in strategic environmental management called Environmental Management and Strategy in Practice (EMSP). This course allows for master’s students to apply the knowledge and tools gained in the previous courses on real-life projects, i.e. for them to go from theory to practice.

The course project is centered around a collaboration with companies and the assignment is shaped in agreement between the students and the companies, thereby ensuring that it highlights highly topical yet relevant and useful issues.

The course has proven to be greatly appreciated both by students and our case companies. We are also grateful to Sustainalink for contributing with suitable case companies.

In 2024, we collaborated with the following case companies: Klippan Safety, Falks Metall, Genarps Lådfabrik, Knorr-Bremse, Nordic Waterproofing and Lindab

See the complete list of case companies for the EMSP course here.
