Aim: Projec AgroDrivee transition to fossil-free energy in Sweden's agricultural and food systems, for improved competitiveness, higher resilience, and better climate. AgroDrive aims to establish a fossil-free, competitive, and sustainable and resilient Swedish food system by transitioning the entire food value chain to renewable energy by 2050. The project addresses the technical, economic, and social challenges of this transition through innovative green technologies, research, and policy development. It fosters collaboration among academia, industry, policymakers, and other stakeholders to reduce climate impact, increase energy independence, and enhance resilience and preparedness. Focus is on validating solutions and good practices in green logistics, biofuel production, and equitable transitions aligned with Sweden’s climate goals.
