Yuliya Voytenko Palgan

Yuliya Voytenko Palgan is a postdoc researcher, research project leader and a coordinator for MSc programme in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management (MESPOM). She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Central European University (Hungary) and a postdoc from Graz University of Technology (Austria). Her PhD and postdoctoral work was on innovative business models for biomass based energy systems in Ukraine, Denmark, Sweden and Spain. Yuliya’s main activities include research and education projects on sustainable urban transitions, virtual meetings, business models and organisation for sustainable energy systems, sustainable transportation and mobility, and energy policy evaluation. She was involved in projects with international organisations including UN FAO, OSCE, UNEP, UNDP and EEA.

The goal of the project is to develop a framework and to propose a credible and applicable routine for the reporting of VMs by public authorities, as well as develop methods for monitoring and consequence analysis of the increased VM use.
