Playing games and exploring complex topics

IIIEE students have run a workshop with their teachers (!) in a so called Climate Fresk. The purpose was to encourage teachers to employ pedagogical tools such as interactive Fresks/Collages. Many thanks to the students in B29 and B30!

IIIEE teachers joined the student-led workshop and were all up for the challenge to learn about it and to facilitate fresks in their own courses. At IIIEE we have been using some games in our teaching, but are always interested in using new games and approaches and have been exploring more about serious games together with a group at Lund University.  Serious games have the potential to explore complex topics and bring new insights and perspectives through constructive discussion – which definitively aligns with our goals and approach to education and research at the IIIEE.
