Jenny Palm from the IIIEE is invited to the Swedish government's annual round-table discussions on climate actions and policy.

The meeting aims to bring together all societal actors to discuss pathways forward in climate policy and for a climate neutral future. Industry representatives, EU politicians and environmental policy spokespersons have been invited, but also academia, think tanks, trade unions, civil organizations and some NGOs. Lund University will be present at the meeting with invitee Jenny Palm, Director of the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) at Lund University. The IIIEE has a long record in research and education with projects that bridge industry, policy and environmental organisations.

The is expected to focus on climate neutral innovation and investments in fossil free energy while strengthening Swedish competitiveness. Such a transition necessitates that the government provides all actors in society with the right tools and preconditions.
