Students visiting Nordic Waterproofing to get insights from industry

The autumn semester course on applied environmental management was kicked-started with a study visit to Nordic Waterproofing. Interesting discussions on drivers, approaches and possibilities in the roofing business.

On Tuesday 29 August the course EMSBVC went onsite to Höganäs and the company Nordic Waterproofing to discuss the environmental management, strategies and approaches applied there.

The course EMSBVC is a joint course with students from the MESPOM program together with the Environment Science program at Lund University, all in all 22 students.

Some of the valuable insights touched upon the growing need for product information in the construction sector as well as the possibilities and challenges with embarking on a more circular path.

Much gratitude to Hans Månsson and his colleagues Karl-Magnus Andersson and Siv Persson Hansen at Nordic Waterproofing for providing us with such a rich and informative study visit and allowing us to discuss their experiences as well as questions for the future sustainability work.
