Professor Don Huisingh, visiting Professor of Sustainable Development and master of Cleaner Production, and distinguished source of inspiration to the IIIEE, visited for a couple of days to meet up with staff and students. In a seminar he presented “How to plan, revise and publish top quality articles in High Impact Journals”. Don brought his experience from being an editor for e.g. Journal of Cleaner Production for many years. The seminar focused on the interdisciplinary environment as the IIIEE and how to navigate in a publication landscape with many new journals, new business models and new expectations on how many articles a researcher is expected to produce.

Don also organized a historical moment at the IIIEE, officially handing over his Earthball, dating back to 1968, a ball that has and is still playing un unforgettable role for each new batch of students starting the Master’s programme.
