The IIIEE is pleased to announce that we are part of Lund University's 'Shape the Future of Research' initiative with the a vacancy for an Assistant Professor (Associate Senior Lecturer) in AI for Sustainable Transformation.

We are now recruiting an Assistant Professor (Associate Senior Lecturer) in the interdisciplinary field of Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Transformation.

This is a full-time, tenure-track position based in Lund, Sweden. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing research and teaching at the intersection of AI, sustainability, and societal transformation. Responsibilities include developing an independent research agenda, publishing in leading academic outlets, engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration, supervising students, and contributing to course development at the IIIEE.

We are particularly interested in applicants whose work addresses the role of AI in enabling more sustainable, just, and resilient societies.
