The IIIEE and the Lighting Metropolis project present state-of-the-art knowledge regarding sustainability aspects of LED throughout its entire life cycle in an exclusive and full review: The Life Cycle of LED.

The review is the first step in making the processes and environmental impact behind production, distribution and usage of LED more open and transparent, with the ambition to create clear guidelines & recommendations for commisioners of LED at a municipal level during 2017.
