Lars Strupeit is a researcher and PhD candidate. With a background in Electrical Engineering and Environmental Management and Policy, Lars currently focuses his research on the local learning experience and business model innovation for the market deployment of photovoltaic systems with case studies in Germany, the United States, and Japan. Previous professional experience includes project development of wind, biogas and photovoltaic power plants in Germany, coordination of the Energy for Sustainable Development Online Course (www.e4sd.org) initiative, research and training on policies for prevention and mitigation of regional air pollution in developing countries (RAPIDC), as well as various projects related to strategic environmental development and sustainable transport.
Policy intervention for a competitive green energy economy
The objective of this project is to assess the role and reach of policy instruments (e.g. market-based instruments) targeting clean energy technology change, taking a competitive green energy-based economy as the main framework for such evaluation.
