Lunch seminar with Jean Pierre Candiotti from The Natural Step Nordics Office
"Sustainable Urban Mobility moving forward from knowledge to action, individual and societal insights"
Jean Pierre Candiotti will present during the IIIEE Lunch Seminar Series on November 13,12.15 in the Lunchroom, third floor (Please let me know if you are unable to attend in person, and I will share a Zoom link with you.)
Abstract: Globally, urban transportation contributes around 25% of energy-related CO₂ emissions. The Greenmobility project, funded by the European Union, presents five modular topics to advance sustainability in urban transport. Behavior change, planning, and evaluation transport systems in cities are some of the prominent tools that will be presented to create individual and societal change. Additionally, during the seminar, an interactive exercise using the Google Environment Explorer tool will be performed, comparing data on transportation, tree canopy, and other factors across different cities. The presentation will focus on Sustainable Urban Mobility, moving forward from knowledge to action, with insights on both individual and societal impacts.
