A café discussion about energy and how to heat our homes in a sustainable way in the future.
This event is part of the Future Week at Lund University, 14-20 October.

During Future Week at Lund University, the IIIEE is organising Walking energy, talking energy, a café discussion, that aims to encourage the participants of the event to share experiences and visions of how to heat our homes in a sustainable way in the future.

More about the event here:

Walking energy, talking energy

Our contemporary relationship with energy is characterised by invisible systems and disengagement. The project “Walking with Energy” wants to encourage reflection and dialogues around how we generate and consume energy in our everyday life.

In this project various events are organised with the purpose to come together and share experiences and visions of how to heat our homes in a sustainable way in the future. The Walking with Energy method brings together oral history with walking tours see different parts of the energy system.

Next event will be a café discussion at Lund University’s future week. This event involves an introduction talk, a tour down to the IIIEE’s basement to look at the pipes and the heat exchanger, a Swedish fika where we talk about the participants’ heating experiences in the past and their thoughts about the future.

When: Thursday 17 October, 13.00-15.00

Where: at IIIEE, Tegnérsplatsen 4, room 133
