Report on circular economy in electronic waste

At the end of November, an report was released by the UK’s environmental audit committee related to the topic of circular economy in electronic waste. IIIEE research from the CREACE project was cited several times in the report, which highlighted premature obsolescence and many legal barriers to reuse and repair of electronics. The report included many recommendations to remove barriers to increase the use and reuse electronics as well as increase repair and recycling.
