On Friday 8 May at 13:00 Karolina Södergren from the IIIEE defended her thesis "From the Inside Out. Municipal Strategies for Governing Industrial and Urban Symbiosis”.
The defence was chaired IIIEE Senior Lecturer Yuliya Voytenko Palgan. Discussant was Lone Kørnøv – Professor at Aalborg University.
Karolina’s work focuses on how municipalities engage with industrial and urban symbiosis - not only as facilitators, but as organizations working internally to make these initiatives possible.
