Lund has been ranked #1 in the world for sustainability — a recognition that reflects the breadth of engagement across both research and education. At Lund University, sustainability is embedded in a wide range of research activities, as well as in educational programmes and courses.
Yet, despite this progress, global sustainability challenges persist — and in many cases, continue to intensify. This raises important questions: what have we learned so far, and how do we move forward?
Next week marks the return of the annual open conference Sustainability Week Lund. Now celebrating its 10th edition, the event is a joint initiative between Lund University and Lund Municipality. This year’s programme focuses on reflecting on lessons learned, exploring future outlooks, and identifying knowledge that can be shared and scaled.
International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) is both organizing and contributing to a number of events throughout the week. Below, you will find a selection of sessions along with links for further information.
All events are open to the public — whether you are a student, researcher, practitioner, or simply curious about sustainability. We warmly welcome you to join us.
