On 11 October 2018, the IIIEE is organizing a City Futures conference in Lund, Sweden. The aim is to bring together academia, municipalities and regional actors within business and industry to discuss how to strengthen the collaboration between science and policy for sustainable solutions. 

Keynote speakers are Dr. Cathy Oke, Knowledge Broker at Melbourne University and First Vice President for ICLEI, and Prof. Harriet Bulkeley from Durham University.
