On the 21st of September the IIIEE host a seminar on the theme Green Economy: Managing the transition to a sustainable economy?
The seminar will bring together a selected group of scholars and scientists to debate the role of green economy. They will take a closer look on questions like: Is a Green Economy the right path to address the perfect ’equity, ecological and economic’ storm we face today? How does a green economy relate to the idea of sustainable development?
Key speakers are Prof. Anil Markandya, Scientific Director, The Basque Climate Change Research Centre, author of “A New Blueprint for a Green Economy” (with Ed Barbier) and Klas Eklund, Senior Economist at SEB, Adjunct professor of Economics at Lund University.
Venue: Main Aula, The International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics, Tegnérsplatsen 4 Lund
