The Swedish-Polish Sustainability Platform has been awarded € 340 000!

The IIIEE is proud to announce that a project application for the city of Zabrze in Poland has been approved by the board of the BSAP-Fund. Project owner is the Polish waste company MOSiR in Zabrze. The purpose of the project is "to make investment preparations and to develop related pre-investment documentation regarding a demonstration biogas system in Zabrze, Poland, including substrates collection, biogas production and nutrients recycling from municipal food waste and manure". The overall project objective is to contribute to the reduction of the nutrients leakage to the Baltic Sea basin, achieved by minimising the organic fraction going to the landfill as well as untreated manure spread on land.
