Third decade of EPR - What lessons and experiences can be used for light sources and other products?
The IIIEE wishes to follow up the two decades of positive experiences in bringing together stakeholders and researchers around topical Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) issues.
There are a number of key questions coming in the last years and there is a set of products up for revision of existing systems as well as the introduction of new target products. Electrical and electronic equipment keeps on being a broad product group of global interest, but discussions around the best way of organising EPR are going on also for other products, such as packaging, textiles, etc.
It is time to come together again and update ourselves, while also helping each other to identify successful avenues for further development. We see special challenges with products that are, depending on fluctuating market conditions, sometimes valuable and sometimes a net cost at end‐of‐life.
A programme for the open session on 10 October is available here
