PhD Program
The PhD programme at the IIIEE is a four-year program covering both research activities and PhD courses. The programme can be extended to five years if the PhD student is teaching in the IIIEE masters programme.
The PhD programme will advance knowledge and understanding in topics related to the core research themes at the IIIEE. The results are to merit publications in leading international scientific journals and to contribute to the foundation of the next generation of multidisciplinary researchers and decision makers in advancing sustainable solutions.
New students can only be accepted to the PhD programme if there is a financial solution for the entire PhD period. This limits the possibilities to accept new students if they are not included in existing research projects. There is no special application form and new PhD positions are announced under Vacancies.
