Our motivation
We are convinced that sustainable development contains multidimensional environmental, economic and social challenges that require major changes in society if significant progress is to be made towards its achievement. Despite such complexity, many technically and economically feasible pathways towards sustainability exist and are being implemented to a limited extent. However, much more must be learned and applied if societies are to become truly sustainable.

Our vision
We envision the transformation of technical and management structures, and public and private sector policies into forms required to advance sustainable solutions.

Our mission
We seek to facilitate the transformation of societies to sustainable development by utilising the synergies of multidisciplinary education and research that is based upon direct engagement with private and public sectors and government. We strive to support and foster the capacity of decision makers to develop and implement policies and strategies to advance sustainable solutions.

Our values
We value openness to and generosity with ideas and spirit and the diversity of perspectives from all cultures. We commit to open collaboration as we strive for excellence in fostering sustainable societies.

Our approach
